In her asset declaration is to be believed, Congress president Sonia Gandhi has an average woman’s weakness for gold and silver.
Though she owns neither a house ( not in India ) nor a car Sonia admittedly has a weakness for jewellery and possesses gold weighting about 2.5 kg., apart from 88 kg of silver ware – the net value of both being Rs 21.60 lakh.
In the declaration paper filed in connection with the Rae Bareli by – poll, Sonia said she had two bank accounts – one with cash deposit of Rs 20,000 and another with Rs 8,35,328.
